Responsibilities
Responsibilities include: presenting and supporting organization-wide training. This encompasses a variety of areas including, but not limited to, New Hire Training, Department Specific Training, Compliance Training, and software programs that are used exclusively by Freedom Mortgage.

  • Designing and developing training and development programs based on the needs of the department and the individual's needs utilizing various technologies.
  • Facilitation of training courses in both live and on-line environments.
  • Evaluation of the participant to ensure the subject material is conveyed in an effective manner.
  • Working on a team to produce programs that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in the organization.
  • Identifying employee developmental/training needs and develop programs/initiatives to meet those needs to enhance performance, morale, and corporate loyalty throughout the organization while reflecting the organization's core values.
  • Acting as a liaison between all departments to ensure consistency with practices, manage scheduling of programs.
  • Performing miscellaneous duties related to training and development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum 5 years in Mortgage Lending and/or industry related experience
  • Travel is required (at least 25%)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively deal with employees and various levels of management staff
  • Solid time management skills
  • Extraordinary team and customer orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint in addition to other various applications
  • Must provide a positive and professional example to trainees
  • Excellent facilitation skills in both one-on-one and group presentation environments
  • Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a professional and positive manner

Education Requirements
Graduation from a four-year college or university with major course work in a discipline related to the requirements of the position preferred. Will consider the equivalent combination of job experience and education that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this position.

Customer Care Representative Loan Servicing


Summary
The Customer Care Representative is responsible for assisting Freedom's customers in the servicing of their mortgage. This may include helping in a call center capacity in one of the following functions: customer service, collections, or loss mitigation options.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Answers internal calls, external calls and work calls from the Message Center and respond to customer requests within established timelines in order to maintain service level expectations in regard to call handling time and calls per hour.
  • Responsible for assuring all regulatory requirements are met concerning customer interaction by explaining policies and procedures courteously and patiently.
  • Maintains confidentiality of customer's non public information.
  • Provides information and knowledgeable assistance regarding mortgage loans by retrieve loan information and provide customers their information quickly and efficiently.
  • Builds customer relationships by actively listening and resolving complaints quickly, efficiently and accurately.
  • Provides written and verbal responses to customer inquiries as needed.

Summary
The Customer Care Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and management of customer service/customer care
including but not limited to: Call center, web services and refinance opportunities.

  • Assist in the management of all aspects of customer contact processes including customer service, collections and loss mitigation.
  • Assists in the management of the Call Center including calling outbound strategy, IVR routing and skip tracing.

Regulatory Compliance Specialist


Freedom Mortgage Corporation, a national mortgage company, is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist for our Fishers, IN location.

Job Description

The primary function of the Regulatory Compliance Specialist is to conduct audits assigned from the overall Compliance Plan. This may include audits of both loans that close, and those that did not close for adherence with State, Federal, and Agency guidelines. Position will assist with data management, review and reporting. Database knowledge and management of large amounts of data is required. Successful candidate will be familiar with fair lending laws as well as HMDA reporting requirements in addition to RESPA, FCRA, ECOA, and TILA requirements including the most recent changes to these regulations. Specialists review applicable federal and state law and regulation and make management recommendations as necessary. Compliance Specialists also participate in process improvement activities at the direction of management.


Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct loan level reviews for adherence to Federal, State, and Agency guidelines. Prepare reports and track results including being able to identify and address trends.
  • Gather and analyze data including assisting with fair lending analysis as assigned.
  • Assist with recommendations for implementation of controls regarding adherence to state and federal law, as well as agency guidelines.
  • Promotes highly efficient processes and systems to monitor, assess, and accurately report on the state and federal regulatory changes.
  • When assigned, assists the Compliance function to promote awareness of emerging compliance issues and/or regulatory changes.
  • Assists operational areas in defining practices that would result in adherence to regulatory compliance objectives as assigned.
  • Consults on special projects as requested by the Compliance Officer, Associate Counsel, and Senior Management.
  • Works closely with other staff in Regulatory Compliance.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of the following: Fair Credit Reporting Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Truth in Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, and other applicable federal and state statutes and regulations.
  • Ten years of related experience may be substituted for the baccalaureate degree.
