Freddie Mac Honors Freedom Mortgage for Superior Loan Servicing for 6th Straight Year
Company acknowledged for outstanding customer service and positive efforts to prevent and alleviate loan delinquencies
Boca Raton, FL – March 7, 2022 – Freedom Mortgage, one of the largest full-service independent mortgage companies and the top VA and FHA (government-insured) lender, announced it was honored with a 2021 Freddie Mac Servicer Honors and Rewards Program (SHARP)SM Award for the sixth straight year. SHARP recognizes servicers for superior portfolio performance, outstanding customer service to borrowers, and for positive efforts to cure delinquencies.
Freddie Mac measures servicer performance through specific servicing metrics, benchmarks and requirements. Freedom Mortgage won a level Silver Award for Group 2. Awards are determined by a rank within a group, which are determined by portfolio size.
We are truly honored to be recognized again by Freddie Mac’s SHARP program, said Stanley C. Middleman, president and CEO of Freedom Mortgage.
We enjoy working with Freddie Mac and are committed to supporting our customers by doing our best to help sustain and increase homeownership. We are always at the ready to help Americans from all backgrounds who might find themselves in difficult, uncertain financial situations find the right solutions to fit their specific mortgage needs. We continuously look for ways to create great mortgage experiences for our customers.
Freedom Mortgage was one of only nine mortgage servicers across the country honored for their ongoing efforts to assist homeowners through challenges brought on by the pandemic by transitioning borrowers from forbearances into longer-term solutions and working together to help sustain homeownership.
The SHARP awards are aligned with Freddie Mac’s Reimagine Servicing® mission to transform the mortgage servicing landscape, where efforts are centered around improving the client experience, reducing costs and minimizing credit risk.
Freddie Mac honored Freedom Mortgage and other SHARP Award winners on February 14, 2022.
In addition to providing home financing, Freedom Mortgage is active in supporting communities in need and service members, veterans, and their families through Team Freedom Cares, the company’s employee engagement and philanthropic program, including combating food insecurity.
