Freedom Mortgage Launches 9th Annual Freedom from Hunger Campaign

One of the company’s four annual campaigns to support local communities across the country where Freedom Mortgage employees live and work

Boca Raton, FL - April 19, 2023 - Freedom Mortgage, one of the largest full-service independent mortgage companies and a top Veterans Administration (VA) and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) lender in the U.S., has launched its annual Freedom from Hunger campaign, encouraging employees, partners, customers, and the public to make a donation to help ensure no one in need is without food.

"As a company focused on helping Americans become homeowners, ensuring we help the communities where we live and work is just as important," said Stanley C. Middleman, President and CEO of Freedom Mortgage. "We are committed to our business and also giving back. I'm so proud that year after year our employees, partners, and customers join us in supporting our Freedom from Hunger annual campaign. Thank you to all who contributed to our efforts."

The employee-led Freedom from Hunger fundraiser empowers employees to help end food insecurity in their local communities. During the campaign, in partnership with Feeding America®, monetary donations are accepted as well as non-perishable canned foods which are collected in some Freedom Mortgage offices across the country. Donations support Feeding America's nationwide network of partner food banks, food pantries, and community-based organizations. Last year, over 1,400 employees donated funds and Middleman made a matching donation that brought the total amount raised to over $102,500 for Feeding America and the American Red Cross.
